Customer Services
Customer Services is an important business unit often overlooked in modern businesses. 186k provides a bespoke customer service which can be tailored to support your business need, whether that be supporting your own products or services, or tailored to meet your own demand.
Voice
Wholesale and Retail Voice services will include interconnection to the 186k high capacity national network, and PSTN services to businesses and resellers. At their core, these services run over IP, with switching at the edge of the network to provide the interfaces required. For business customers, we will connect large corporate sites directly with traditional or IP PBXs, and support smaller sites indirectly using an access code to our network programmed at the BT switch.

Ordering, flexible billing information and reports will be available on-line, as well as via our customer services desk, which is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Internet Protocol Virtual Private Networks
186k's IP-VPN service will emulate a corporate Private Wide Area Network over the 186k network, providing a solution that will be cost effective, offering flexible, simple billing, management and provisioning, and have a far-reaching presence compared to existing VPN solutions.

The service will also cover: intranet solutions offering secure site-to-site communications within a business environment; remote access, giving remote or mobile workers secure access to the files and applications on corporate servers; and extranet capability, providing secure communication between business partners, with varying levels of access. 186k's IP-VPN services are tailored to meet your individual business needs.
Flat Rate Internet Access
186k Flat Rate Internet Access will offer ISPs unmetered dial-in access to their chosen point of presence (PoP). This means ISPs can offer unmetered services to end users on a national scale and provide them with competitive tariff packages tailored to their individual needs and lifestyles.

Each ISP will receive a range of numbers which will be allocated to their customers according to the tariff package. Inbound calls on these numbers will be directed by 186k to the ISP's PoP for authentication and tariff allocation before providing the service.
These are all currently in development so watch this space...
